Two Riddles

Riddle #1:


It arrives in windows

Pees twice

And if you don't take it

It'll slip through your fingers

Once it's gone, you're out of luck till another one comes along.

Riddle #2:


It's a lot:

A dinner roll

And the original foxtrot

Right beside each other

With room to spare

Hint

The first and last lines talk about the meaning of the answer, while the middle three describe the structure of the word.
